He brings a wealth of experience to the team by being able to solve the challenges faced by lawyers keen to use technology to achieve affordable efficiency and reliability to improve levels of client care. He has extensive knowledge of hardware, software, hosting and telecommunications.
Natalie heads-up Virtual Practices, the online services division of SOS. She manages the team of legal cashiers as well as the sales process, go-live process and ongoing account management. Having always worked in the legal sector, prior to joining VP, Natalie worked at law firms for 18 years as Chief Legal Cashier and Legal Accounts Manager. She started her career at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and, before relocating to South West, headed up the cashier team at Kennedys, another international law firm.

Laura has a broad range of experience of the legal sector from working at a law firm for six years – she progressed through the firm and carried out accounts support, credit control, money laundering and general reception work. She enjoys the variety of being a legal cashier at Virtual Practices as she is able to assist many kinds of start-up and growing legal businesses. Laura holds the ILFM Diploma.

Liz worked at a well known Devizes law firm for 23 years dealing with all aspects of legal cashiering over their 4 branches including billing, credit control, postings slips, VAT reporting and purchase ledger. Liz supporting the fee earners in the use of the SOS software and managing all aspects of their files including document management on SOS Connect. Liz also holds the ILFM Diploma.

After having a career break to concentrate on her family, Hilary started back at work with a large retail company and progressed quickly to the role of admin manager where she gained a range of administration and cashiering experience, including daily store banking, staff payroll and obtaining consistent results in audits.

Rosie is a newcomer to the legal profession and has joined Virtual Practices as a Trainee Legal Cashier. Rosie’s main role is to provide administrative support within the team. Rosie has 3 years prior experience as an Administrative/Accounts Assistant and joined us in July 2016. She holds AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting Level 2 and is planning on working towards the legal accounts diploma with ILFM.

Jack has had a keen interest in IT from a young age, having 4 years of experience in the industry. At the age of 15, he managed his own server hosting website and from there his interest has expanded. Jack has a range of knowledge stemming from companies such as Zenith Epos and Stage 2, where he project managed and supported customers with newly installed systems. Although Jack is new to the legal sector, his IT experience brings a fresh and exciting perspective into the company. Jack is frontline support for the ever growing Virtual Practices Division in SOS.

Mark has a wealth of legal finance experience from spending nearly 30 years at a regional law firm. Joining as a legal cashier, Mark progressed to Accounts Manager and was responsible for the daily running of the Accounts Department across three offices. In addition to overseeing all aspects of the firm’s legal accounts, Mark trained fee earners and secretaries in solicitors accounts packages and supported fee earners with their management of Client files and ledgers.
